This is me.
I work 10 hours a week for our church, currently "exploring opportunities for reaching out to non church children", but other than that I am a stay at home mom.

I am a sinner saved by grace. What does that mean? I MESS UP! Big time, mess ups, small mess ups, but I mess up, I sin. And I have the privilege of coming to God, having Him wipe the slate clean. And when I start again, it is not me starting again, it is me starting for the first time, BECAUSE OF WHAT HE DID!

Offline for a while

Computer crash.
At first thought to be hard disk failure.
Now thought to be complete motherboard failure.

COSTLY

No spare cash

Therefore could take a while.

I am able to check in at work, and for short periods of time on son's computer, but he needs that for homework, so, don't expect to see me posting on here, at least for a few days, if not a few weeks.

Advent Exercise

I have fallen behind!
I've been lazy
I've also been ill (stuck on the sofa for nearly a whole week wtih tonsillitis),
And I have been eating badly, and not exercising.

My weight, funnily enough is not too bad, by measurements and clothes sizes are a different matter!
And NOW is the time to do something!
So, I have included something of exercise every day in my advent box. If you don't read the main page of my blog, check it out, there is a post on there about an advent calendar box that I made JUST FOR ME. One of the things I need to do JUST FOR ME, is to up my exercise levels and thereby improve my health.

soooo, each box on that calendar has a slip of paper for exercising that day. Some are just to climb the stairs a few times, some are to put my shoes on, get out the front door and walk for 10 minutes, turn around and walk back!, and one or two are as simple as GO OUTSIDE and just breathe in the fresh outdoor air, cuz I know there will be days when that is all I have time for, but even on those days I am determined to do at least that.

So, right now, I need to get off this computer, get my shoes on, and yes, you guessed it, go take a walk!
