This is me. I work 10 hours a week in the office at our church, but other than that I am a stay at home mom. (for now at least). I am a sinner saved by grace. What does that mean? I MESS UP! Big time, mess ups, small mess ups, but I mess up, I sin. And I have the privilege of coming to God, having Him wipe the slate clean. And when I start again, it is not me starting again, it is me starting for the first time, BECAUSE OF WHAT HE DID!

Food Festival Part 4

Next we came across a stall selling Mediterranean specialities.
Mediterranean Pantry.
They have various olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and dressings, a well as other items. We tasted a couple of their oils, and vinegars, using a piece of pitta bread to dip. Their extra virgin oil was very green, heehee, and extremely tasty. The Balsamic vinegar dressing was absolutely delicious, rich and dark whilst having a nice citrus type note to it.
The third basket in the above picture is individual sachets of their dressing, great for your packed lunches and so on.

They also have a range of pestos and chilli dipping sauces. Son tried the "hot" dipping sauce and said it was very nice and that it was a good job I hadn't tried it. I tried the basic garlic green pesto and the tomato pesto, both with just a piece of bread stick and they were very nice.
You can also see their tapenade in that photo, but I didn't taste that.

Next some tasty hot food, they were cooking up burgers and sausages from one of the butchers, but I didn't check which.
They looked delicious and if we weren't keeping our money for mothers day treats for me we might have had one!

And finally for this side of the marquee, the juicer man! We all had carrot juice. I reminded eldest of when he tried grass juice and he did not seem to enjoy that memory. I'll be honest and say I have never had carrot juice before and I was pleasantly surprised as to it's taste. I don't know what carrots he was using but it was almost sweet, very nice.
Move on to the next post for the other side of the marquee.
