Food Festival Part 5
Now we turn at the end and begin the walk back up the other side of the marquee.
I don't seem to have as many photos for this side, so maybe I am wrong about the location of some of the stalls I don't have photos for, but anyway, here we go!
First at this end is the fish in a box people.
Fish in a box offers a home delivery service by phone and through their website, that are available on free delivery to different local areas on different days. You can pick and choose which fish you want, or order a meal selection box. From their site:
You decide how much fish you require and how often. Choose the box size you require from the table. We carefully choose the fish, buying the best quality, good value and in season fish of the day. We only buy fish which is in season and from sustainable sources. We prepare the fish, pack it in ice (disposable ice packs for overnight courier delivery), in strong polystyrene boxes and deliver it to you. The fish you will receive will not be the same each delivery but chosen from about 40 varieties, suitable for everyday meals and supplied with a recipe. We do not put shellfish in the boxes unless asked and the only smoked fish is oak smoked haddock. All the fish is fresh and therefore suitable for home freezing.
Next was a stall selling home made cakes and tray bakes.

I'm not sure of the name of the lady who makes these, but I know they are available through the Greenfields farm shop. Sons tried the flapjack and I tried a piece of the bakewell slice, very almondy, and just the right amount of jam. YUM!
Next to that was a very small family run stall selling home made Indian goods. We bought something off here, but more of that in another post when we have finished our walk through the marquee.
Next came the smoked seeds and nuts stall with the squirrel!
We tried a few of these. I like mixed seeds anyway, but smoking them gave them such a moreish edge that I dare not buy a bag in case I end up eating the whole lot in one sitting!
And here are the smoked nuts and the mixed nuts and seeds.
