Food Festival
YIPPEE!
It's food festival weekend!
And I AM going!
It's hosted by a local farm shop, Greenfields.
It's not a HUGE food festival like the one in Ludlow (Which btw, I am determined to get to this year), but it is focussed on local growers, local providers. In fact, I have my "Supporting Local Food" car sticker ready to go in my car. I wish local food wasn't as expensive as it is, and then I could afford to buy it more often, but at the moment with our food budget so tight I can only afford it for special treats. And lets face it, it's mothers day tomorrow, so I deserve a special treat, right?
I have to decide whether to take the boys with me and go before I take them to golf, or whether to wait until after golf and go on my own! I think I'll have more time to look around if I go on my own! But the boys do enjoy it, and often choose to taste things which I wouldn't think of tsting, and so we get a wider range of things, which is good. I remember one year at Ludlow, one of them tried the juiced grass, you should have seen his face! heeheee, he won't be doing that again in a hurry!
I'll try and remember to take my camera with me and I'll blog later as to what I see, what I taste and what I buy and how it all goes.
